Autogenerate lines between nodes

This tool is typically used to create route lines between poles but can be configured for other use cases.

For a set of poles, routes will be generated between each pair of poles that fit within the radius limit.

1.In the menu bar, select Autogeneration > Autogenerate lines between nodes. A side panel opens with several buttons:

oSelect with polygon - Select poles in the map by drawing a polygon around them.

oSelect from changeset - Typically used when a set of pole objects have been imported but not yet posted.

oConfigure route - Press Change to set subtypes and values for the attributes of the routes.

oSearch radius for connection - Set the limit for each of the selected poles. Any pole within this limit will be connected with a route.

oDisplay search radius - Check the box to make the radius visible on the map.

oPreview - Displays the lines that are valid based on the current settings in the tool.

2.Press Generate lines to create the route objects.

Poles that are already connected with a route will be ignored by the tool, allowing it to be run incrementally.
