In the object model in dpCom, a multiduct is defined as a protective pipe (the multiduct itself) with a number of included ducts, so-called microducts. Use a product specification to create a detailed description of multiducts to a manufacturer's specification.

Create a product specification for a multiduct type

1.Select Administration > Create product specification > Multiduct.

2.Fill in information about the multiduct type on the left of the form.

3.In the duct template on the right, specify which microducts are included in the multiduct, with information about Color, Dimension, Duct Number, and Lap. When you apply the product specification to a multiduct, the duct template is automatically transferred and displayed in the Related data tab in the multiduct's attribute form.

4.Press OK.
