Work with manhole sides

The manhole side object, along with its manhole side holes, allows for the documentation of entries into a manhole/chamber and the assignment of pipes/ducts and cables to these holes.

Object structure

Manhole side - A child of the manhole, associated with a route connected to the manhole. It documents the side where the trench connects to the manhole.

Manhole side hole (Hole) - A child of the manhole side, associated with a pipe/duct or a cable.

Set up Manhole side type configuration

The Manhole side type attribute is managed by an administrator in the Codelist manager. The codelist includes columns for the number of rows (NO_ROWS), number of columns (NO_COLUMNS), and capacity of holes (PIPE_CAPACITY). These settings determine the grid and the number of holes generated.

Edit the Manhole side

The holes are shown in a table in the attribute form of the manhole side. This table allows for navigation and modification of hole attributes, such as row and column values. Row and column values can be manually adjusted to form a specific grid layout. For example, a setup with three rows containing 3, 2, and 3 holes can be defined with the following row and column values:

1,1; 1,3; 1,5

2,2; 2,4

3,1; 3,3; 3,5

The linked routes are presented in another table. This table has a button for removing the link.
