The Links menu contains functions for creating and managing links between objects in different systems and modules.

The available functions depend on the object type and the installed modules.

Function	Description
Administrate contacts	Creates or links contacts to a distribution node.
Link distribution node to equipment room	Creates a link between a distribution node in dpCom and a utility shed in dpPower.
Link Pole to Mast	Creates a link between a pole in dpCom and a mast in dpPower.

Manage contacts

This feature is used to create or link a contact person to a distribution node.

This feature is located under Links > Administrate contacts in the right-click menu for a distribution node.

Link Distribution Node to Equipment Room

This function is used to create a link between a distribution node in dpCom and a utility shed in dpPower.

When the link is created, a mirror object is created in dpCom that corresponds to the equipment shed in dpPower. After the objects have been linked, their locations and selected attributes are synchronized between the systems.

Link a pole to a mast

This function is used to create a link between a pole in dpCom and a mast in dpPower.
