Geometry editing is used to change how objects and components are displayed in the graphical view.
You can edit:
an entire object,
an individual graphical component,
or parts of a component, such as vertices.
Common editing actions include:
•moving objects and components,
•adding or removing vertices,
•changing the shape of lines and polygons,
•rotating symbols and text,
•resizing symbols and text,
•create arcs from line segments.
Many of the most common tools are available in the toolbar. You can find other functions under Edit > Object and Edit > Component.
When you edit objects in the graphical view, the same warning symbols and messages may appear as when placing objects. For more information, see the section Common notifications when placing objects.
