To connect a new designed network to an existing network, follow these steps:

 

1.Select Edit > Object > Split pipe or Split DH/DC line.

2.Select the pipe or line to which the new network will be connected. The pipe or line is split.

3.Place a T-piece or another suitable node at the split.

4.Set the node’s state to In use and connect the node to the split pipe or line. The node must be in the In use state for the existing network to remain connected.

5.Create the new network with the desired configuration and set the states for the new objects to Designed or Planned.

6.For calculations on the designed network:

oEnsure that the trace includes all relevant states.

oUse project loads or the default values assigned by Analyzer for the calculation.

oTo specify project loads for a central, open the central’s attribute form and select the Project load tab.
