The purpose of this tool is to provide a quick overview of the health of all cables in the changeset. This is presented using three symbols for each cable:
•First symbol - Either a green or a red
. If a red cross, there is a problem with the layout of the cable; it is not, directly or indirectly, running in a connected path of route objects.
•Second and Third symbols - These represent the connectivity status of the cable at its ends:
oRed - Not connected at all.
oYellow - Connected at the cable level but not at the fiber level.
oGreen - Connected at the cable level and at least one fiber is connected.
Selecting a cable entry provides more details than the symbols show, such as the number of connected fibers. A cable can also be expanded to show similar information as found in the related data tab of the cable's attribute form.
1.In the menu bar, select Tools > Connectivity status of cables. A side panel opens, listing the cables that are currently in the changeset.
For performance reasons, this list of cables is not updated automatically. 1.Press Reload to update and show the current status of the cables. |
