Use this function to change a pipe or duct to a multiduct, or a multiduct to a pipe or duct. You can change one object at a time.

If a pipe or duct has directly subordinate objects, these must also be pipes or ducts for the change to proceed.

 

1. Select Edit > Pipes and routes > Change type of pipe/duct/multiduct.

2. Select the object you want to change. The Change type of pipe/duct/multiduct dialog opens.

3. Select the desired type in the New possible pipe/duct/multiduct types list.

4. Press OK. The object is replaced with an object of the selected type, and existing cross-sections are updated.

 

The list shows the types allowed for the selected object. The object’s connections and relationships may limit the available types.

Data is transferred according to the system settings. Check the attributes and cross-sections after the change, as some type-specific data and graphical components are not transferred.
