Adds one or several existing cables or pipes in a route or in a pipe. Use this function when you want to extend the stretch of one or more objects in the network.
1.Select Edit > Pipes and routes > Put cable/pipe in route path.
2.In the graphical view, click a cable or a pipe and then select the new route/pipe that the cable/pipe will be put in. The Select a path dialog opens.
3.Use the drop-down menu in the dialog to select which route the cable/pipe should be put in.
4.Depending on which option you select, the path will be highlighted in the map.
5.Press OK to confirm the selected path.

Update cross section
The cross section displays the content of a route and can be updated automatically when you add or remove objects from the route. (Right click on the reference line of the cross section > Update cross section). If you wish to update the cross section manually, one way to verify that the cross section is up to date, is to open the attribute form of the route and study the graphics in the window Automatically generated cross section. If the cross section in the map differs, you should update it.
1.Select Move component 
in the toolbar, then click on the reference line associated with the cross-section graphic.

1.Right-click on the route and select Update Cross Section.
