Imports the contents of a changeset file. By default, the file filter in the import dialog displays files with the .dpws extension. The changeset must be empty in order to import a changeset file.

You can still import older change set files with the .dps file extension by selecting All Files in the dialog box's file filter. |
Import Change Set File
1.Select Import > Changeset > Changeset file. A dialog box opens.
2.Select the file to import.
3.Select whether to check the Ignore metadata errors box.

The Ignore metadata errors checkbox is selected by default. The import can then continue even if the file contains object or component types that are missing or invalid in the receiving application. Data that fails these checks is skipped. Uncheck the box if you want the import to be canceled with an error message when such metadata errors are detected. |
4.Press Open. Once the import is complete, the window Population Results appears.
5.Press Show changes to open the list of changes in the changeset.
