<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> dpCom > Menu reference > Tools > Node/Network template > Define Node template contents |
1.Choose Tools > Node/Network template > Define Node template contents.
2.Select a node in the map that contains the content that you wish to create a template of.
If several nodes with content are selected, it will result in that twice the content (from both nodes) will be placed in the node in which you wish to place the template in. This is normally not recommended. |
3.Enter a name and a cluster type for the node template contents in the field Name and Cluster type (defined in the codelist Template type / CLUSTER_TYPE_CL) and press OK.
•The node template content contains all of the content of the node but not the node itself. This content includes internal connections such as patches and only connections to objects that are child objects of the node.
•The node template contents is saved in the list with already defined node templates. You can find the list of node templates by selecting Place > Node/Network template > Create. It is then possible to create the node template contents in another node in the map.
•To place node template contents in the map (in another node), see section Place > Node/Network template > Create > Only node contents.
