This tool allows for a flexible automatic creation of pipes, cables and node contents for a part of a network design that connects customer nodes. The customer node attribute Number of end points may be used to define what to create for different sizes of customer nodes.
Auto placers need to be setup with specifications of cables, ducts and node contents. In this setting, different types and numbers may be set for different sizes of customer nodes, based on the value of the Number of end points attribute. These settings are saved together with the changeset, meaning new settings need to be configured for another changeset.
The setup can be made and saved without actually generating any objects.
