This is a beta feature for administrative management of WMS services directly in the application. It allows administrators to create and maintain shared WMS services without having to modify configuration files on the server.

 

1.Select Administration > Handle WMS service.

2.Select the desired WMS from the list on the left, or press Add WMS to add a new WMS.

3.Handle the WMS service. Here you can for example:

oEnter Name.

oCheck Publish if the WMS service should be published. Then users will see the WMS service in the sidebar Map tab under WMS and raster.

oPress Update details to add, for example, that passwords are required for the service.

oIn the Layers section, specify which layers should be shown or hidden. You can also press Lock layer to lock the layer so that users cannot change these choices in their own view.

4.Press Save to save all settings.
