The object earthing for work (protective earthing) is intended to document the management during renovations and switching when part of the network needs to be earthed for safety reasons. Earthing for work should always be connected to an electrical object using an earthing switch. It is possible to create these objects at each voltage level.

 

The object Earthing for work and Earthing switch can be placed separately or be placed together depending on the different placement options.

The Earthing switch can also be connected to bays, transformer bays, bus bars and between two switches. The earthing switch is created in an open switch state.

The earthing for work and its connections has no importance for the calculation program but is important when using dpOperator. When an earthing for work is connected to an earthing switch, the topology engine performs a trace in the connected network so that it becomes earthed.
