Allows you to select object types and component types in the map. The object types and component types will then be displayed in the map with the color for "Selected component" (Settings > Change settings > Basic > Selection).

1.Select Edit > Select > Select With Dialog. A dialog box opens.

2.Select settings. Select the object types and component types to be displayed on the map by checking the boxes in the Select column. Associated component types will then be listed in the right part of the window and make it possible to display these as well.

Within area

Active view	Can be used to limit the selection of objects to be selected.
Define area from existing objects	Can be used to limit the selection of objects to be selected.
Define area	Can be used to limit the selection of objects to be selected.

Buttons

Select	Displays the selected object types and component types in the map.
Deselect	Allows you to deselect one or more component types and updates this directly in the map.
Deselect all	The color turns off for the selected component for the object types and component types in the map. This is also updated directly in the map.
Close	Closes the window and ends the function.
