SVG...

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a vector-based image format. In SVG, the images are built up with the help of curves instead of pixels, which makes it possible to change the size of images (rescale) without deteriorating image quality.

When you open the saved SVG file, the contents will be displayed in the client's preset browser.

The support for viewing SVG differs between the different browsers, and their versions. Today, most browsers have built-in support for SVG, but there are plug-ins available (eg Adobe SVG Viewer: http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/main.html).
