Show path to source

This function requires the Operator module.

The trace shows the first found path to a voltage source (Equivalent source/Generator). This function can be used in Operator, for example, when a grid is connected at a lower voltage level and an outage is created that de-energizes the grid.

The trace result is saved and can thus be used in the Query tool. The result shows information about the Voltage source and the Path, meaning, the connections to the source (including the source object).

 

1.Select Tools > Trace > Show path to source > Voltage, Earthing or Feeding bay.

2.Select starting object.

3.The path to the nearest source is highlighted in the map with the color for Highlighted. A window opens with information about the voltage source and path with object type and ID for each object.

Select the desired color for Highlighted:

1.Select Settings > Preferences.

2.In the Color tab, Color section, tap the Highlighted color bar.
