Set up two-factor authentication

The function turns on/off or changes the two-factor authentication for the user.

The function needs to be configured to work. If there has been no configuration, the menu option will not be visible in the application. Contact your customer manager or Digpro support for more information and setting up two-factor authentication.

Once the function is configured, the Google Authenticator app must be downloaded to your mobile device via App Store or Google Play.

1.Select Settings > Set up two-factor authentication. A dialog opens.

2.Check the checkbox to activate two-step verification for the user.

3.Scan the QR code that appears in a new window using the Google Authenticator app, then verify the code. If two-step verification has been turned on at any time before, then the feature will only be turned on and it is expected that the user already has a scanned code. If in this case you do not have a code, use the Generate New QR Code button.

4.Restart the application and enter the code generated by Google Authenticator in the Enter code window that appears.

If the computer is to be used frequently over a period of time, check the Trust this device for 30 days check box. The verification code from Google Authenticator then does not need to be filled in. This can also be selected in the dialog for two-factor authentication.

5.After entering the verification code, the OK button will be activated. Press OK and select a changeset to log into as usual.

If the user is not to be remembered at the next login, press the Forget this user on all devices button.
