The function Reduce number of vertices in geometry is used to remove redundant vertices for a selected geometry.
1.Activate the function by Edit > Component > Reduce number of vertices in geometry.
2.Select the geometry/area that you wish to reduce the number of vertices on.
3.The status bar gives you information about how many vertices that have been removed.

Press N or E on your keyboard to lock the new vertex vertically or horizontally (Northing and / or Easting coordinates). Right-click repeatedly to enable/disable the function.Combine the functions Show > Show in this view > All vertices and reduce number of vertices in geometry to simplify your work process. |
