If you want to quickly find a specific object in the map, you can use the Quick search function. The function can be used on posted objects where you have access to the object ID.
You can also search for results from OpenStreetMap, these results are displayed directly below any search results from network data.
1.Select Tools > Quick search posted data... (Ctrl-F). A search box opens.
2.Enter the ID of the object you are searching for, or a desired location. Suggestions are displayed in a list.
3.Select the desired object or location in the list and press Enter or double-click. The object or location is displayed in the current view. The search box and suggestion list disappear.

2.Press the icon with three dots .
3.Uncheck the box for Include OpenStreetMap.
The function makes it easier to find a specific object directly in the active view instead of going through the Query tool where you use the steps:
1.Press Query Tool > Search.
2.Select a folder in the list
3.Select Object type.
4.Enter ID.
5.Select the object in the search result to locate the object in the map.
Open the attribute form for the object by selecting the object in the list and pressing Ctrl-Enter. |
