dpPower Analyzer uses the network information and topology that is stored in the system with dpPower. The calculations are completely web-based and no client installation is needed.
1.Trace the part of the network that should be analyzed.
2.Give the start parameters and start the calculation.
3.Evaluate the result.
To be able to create a complete network calculation of a distribution network it is required that:
•The network is correctly connected between nodes, cables and switches.
•The involved transformers have the necessary characteristics documented.
•The conductors have the correct designation and the line type have the correct characteristics.
•The fuses are correctly connected and that their tripping characteristics are updated in the template data.
•The circuit breakers have the correct tripping characteristics from the relay data.
•Input data for the calculation in the form of voltage and short-circuit data are known, alternatively the system's standard values can be used.
•Load information is available.
•Annual energy load from customer billing system in combination with Velander constants.
•Standard loads in delivery points in combination with Velander constants.
•Project loads entered in any node.
•Template load profile curves.
•Imported load data from AMR-system.
•Estimate of load based on transformers in the network.
