Key Performance Indicators

Key Performance indicators is a powerful tool to analyze outages and receive Key Performance Indicators (KPI:s).

The KPI report can filter for outages using Date and a number of other parameters such as Voltage level, Cause, Duration and more.

The report can also be grouped regarding for instance Year, District, Voltage level, Cause and more. To be able to show all outages, the checkbox Show Outage/operating order ID needs to be checked and to be able to receive a sum of all outages, the checkbox Show sum row needs to be checked.

For each row, the following columns are available:

Column

Description

Outage ID

Describes the outage ID.

Breaking point

Shows the object where the breaking point occurred.

Occurred

Describes the time and date when the outage occurred.

Restored

Describes the time and date when the outage was restored .

Number

Number of outages that fulfills the selection criteria.

Customer outage time

Total customer outage time (h) for the outages in this selection criteria.

HV customer number

Number of HV customers for the outages in this selection criteria.

LV customer number

Number of LV customers for the outages in this selection criteria.

Total customer number

Total number of customers for the outages in this selection criteria.

Disconnected power

Max disconnected power for the outages in this selection criteria (kW).

Energy not supplied

Total Energy Not Supplied (ENS) for the outages in this selection criteria (kW).

Outage duration

The sum of outage durations for the outages in this selection criteria (h).

SAIFI

Average outage frequency for all customers and the outages in this selection criteria (number/year).

SAIDI

Average outage duration for all customers and the outages in this selection criteria (number/year).

CAIDI

Average outage duration for all affected customers and the outages in this selection criteria (number/year).

ASAI

Average System Availability Index. Is calculated as the number of actual customer hours divided by the desired number of customer hours.

Besides to display just one row with all these columns, different grouping and filtering can be done to achieve a desired report layout.

 

Outage by Substation primary/Line

This report is a powerful tool to analyze outages and receive grouped statistics based on outages specified for each primary substation and outgoing feeders.

By using this report, it is possible to receive a report containing the standard columns e.g. Customer outage time (h), HV customer number,  LV customer number, Total customer number, Disconnected power and Energy not supplied.

Based on the selection in search, filter and group criteria, new columns will also be added in the report.  

 

Tripping device

By using this report, it is possible to receive a report containing the columns described below. There are 4 standard columns. Based on the selection in search, filter and group criteria new columns can also be added to the report.

Number of outages with tripping time within the given Dividing time.

Number of outages with tripping time above the given Dividing time.

The sum of outages

 

By checking any of the checkboxes in the section Give field to group, it is possible to add new optional columns to the report.

Column

Description

Year/Month

Adds columns for Year and Month to the report.

Day/Hour

Adds columns for Day and Hour to the report.

District

Adds a District column to the report.

Switchgear

Adds a column indicating the substation name to the report.

Line

Adds a column indicating the bay name of the outgoing feeder to the report.

Volt.level

Adds a column indicating the voltage level of the tripping object.

 

 

Show sum row

Adds report row showing a sum for all the standard fields.

 

Outage compensation

By using this report, it is possible to receive a report containing the standard columns e.g. GS1-code, Subscri.part, Delivery point, Current fuse, Occurred, Duration (minutes), Name, Address, Zip code and City for the outage compensation.
