Generate the report

 

The report is generated as follows:

 

1. Update outlet points with feeding station

In the outage report, the feeding station must be indicated for each outlet point.

1.Select Operator > Save feeding stations to update all objects in the database with feeding object values. By default, the function is scheduled every night and does not need to run then.

2.Select Administration > Administrate scheduled jobs to schedule RefreshFeeds.

 

2. Read out the base data for the outage report

The command populates a number of tables with base data for the report. Base data contains ID, energy values, associated station, customer class, etc. per customer facility.

1.Select Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4) > Save base data for report....

2.In the query tool in the Reports tab, select Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4) > Show saved base report data to see data per year.

 

3. Validate base data

The query tool contains a number of reports for validating the base data.

1.In the query tool in the Reports tab, select Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4) > Base data validation.

Illegal customer code

A customer code has been found that is not valid SNI code/111111/222222 has been found.

May be because either the SNI code must be entered into the customer system and the customer data read in again, or if ISIC code is used, a mapping must be made between ISIC code and SNI code.

Test by re-running the function Operator > Save feeding stations.

Invalid ID of contiguous account area

Checked if the customer code is boundary point = 222222


Referred station does not exist in base data

Checks if station ID in base data outlet points is included among base data stations.


ID of concession area too long



Account area for concession area not given

Accounting area must be in basic data on concession areas.

Checks that the company information is entered correctly.

By entering correct information with Operator > Show Company Info.

As long as the validation reports give deviations, no XML file can be read out.

 
3.1 Edit base data

If the validation shows deviations in the base data, an error list is obtained.

Correct base data (export)

1.Select the rows.

2.Right-click and select Export for editing. A semicolon separated text file .csv is saved and can be updated with values.

Excel cannot handle the 18-digit EAN code and destroys it.
If the file is to be edited in Excel:

1.Change the file name from .csv to .txt and open it in Excel.

2.Make sure all columns are loaded as text.

 

Correct base data (edit file)

1.In the first column of the edit file, enter a "U", "I" or "D".

oU = Update the row

oI  = Insert a new ow

oD = Delete the row

 

Correct base data (import file)

1.To update the base data with the edited file, select Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4)  > Import change table for outlet points.

If Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4) > Save base data for report... is run again, after importing changes, any editing imported will be overwritten. Then these change files need to be imported again.

 

 

4. Show base data for one year

1.In the query tool in the Reports tab, select Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4) > Show saved base report data to display a number of reports to review base data saved for a specific year.

5. Update EAN for affected customers

Customers who have been affected by outages must be updated with EAN.

1.Select Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4) > Uppdate EAN for affected customers.

 

6. Generate XML file

When the validation reports can be run without deviations, generation of the XML file for an accounting area can take place.

1.Select Operator > Annual outage reports (EIFS 2015:4) > Create outage report.... The Create outage report dialog box opens.

2.Set the Year for the report and press Search.

3.Select desired Account area.

4.Select period and press OK.

For the dialog There exist outages that are not yet reconnected. Do you want to create the report anyway? it is recommended that you select No when the annual outage report are to be submitted to El.
If the purpose of the report is to obtain key figures for each month, select Yes.
