Status bar

At the bottom of the application window is the status bar. The status bar is divided into three sections that show information about current tools, system messages and the mouse cursor position in the graphical view.

Selected tool and instruction

The left part of the status bar shows the tool or command that is active, for example Move Component.

Instructions are also displayed here to guide you through the next steps in the workflow. If the Move Component tool is selected, the instruction is shown first:

Once a component is selected, the instruction is automatically updated to the next step, for example:

Place Component

The instruction text is displayed in bold to clearly show when the system is waiting for an action from the user.

 

 

You can choose to display:

Object type name - subtype - Displays the name of the object type and subtype of the map object you point to with the mouse cursor.

Coordinates - Displays information about Northing-Easting coordinates at the mouse cursor position.

Coordinates in WGS84 - Displays information about latitude-longitude coordinates at the mouse cursor position.

Move view to coordinates

1.Press the arrow icon at the bottom right.

2.Select Coordinates or Coordinates in WGS84.

3.Select Move view to coordinates....

4.Enter coordinates and press OK. The map view moves to the specified coordinates.

Scale - Displays the scale of the graphic view that the mouse cursor is in.

To change the scale

1.Press the arrow icon at the bottom right.

2.Select Scale.

3.Select Set Scale....

4.Enter the scale factor and press OK. The scale factor changes to the specified scale.
