A digital station binder is an object type used to collect and share documents that should be accessible from several different stations.
This function requires the DOC_COLLECTION role. |
1.Select Place > Digital station binder.
2.Enter an ID for the station binder.
3.Add the desired database documents in the Document tab.
You can drag and drop documents to or between document tables in the application to add or copy database documents |
4.Press OK.
5.To link stations to the station binder, it must first be published. Select File > Post.
1.Press the Query tool .
2.In the Queries tab, select Electrical objects > Digital station binder > Digital station binder.
3.Enter the desired search criteria and press Search.
4.To edit a station binder, right-click the station binder in the result list and select Show/change attributes.
The station binder must be posted before stations can be linked to it. |
1.Press the Query tool .
2.In the Reports tab, select Electrical equipment > Stations and station data > Digital station binder.
3.Enter the desired search criteria and press Search.
4.Right-click a station in the result list and select Object > Link digital station binder.
5.Press Search, select the desired station binder, and press OK.
When a station has been linked to a digital station binder, the documents in the binder can be viewed directly from the station.
1.Right-click the station and select Show/change attributes.
2.Select the Digital station binder tab. All documents included in the linked station binder are displayed here.
1.Press the Query tool .
2.In the Reports tab, select Electrical equipment > Stations and station data > Digital station binder.
3.For example, you can:
oFilter by a specific station binder in the Digital station binder drop-down list. The list shows stations linked to the selected station binder as well as stations that are not yet linked to any station binder.
oRight-click the Digital station binder column and select the desired station binders. The list then shows only stations that are linked to the selected station binders.
