The function is used to place text labels in the map in the active view. You can create a new label, create a session label (an unsaved label) or edit a saved/earlier label. The labels can be used for one or more types of objects. It is also possible to place customer and customer facility information for connection points retrieved from the customer system. In this way, you can present information about objects that are not normally shown on the map. After placing the text label in the map, the information can be printed or exported along with the map view.
•By default, the labels cannot be saved between sessions. However, the label itself can be saved so that it can easily be placed again at the next session. This is done in the Label Settings panel. Unsaved labels are marked in the list with an asterisk. •If you create a session label, i.e. a label that you do not save under Label Settings, and name it the same name as an existing label, the first label is saved over by the session label. The session label is removed from the list of saved/earlier labels. |
