Earthing

Earthings can be placed both in the map and the schematics in dpPower. The earthings can give the position for both reference earthing and auxiliary earthing.

The attribute form allows you to specify if the earthing should be considered as a reference earthing and in the standard form there are several tabs for documenting the necessary information.

In the tab Earthing data you can enter the type and installation data. You can also enter the earthing classification which is essential for the approval of calculation when it comes to the allowed energizing quantity for earthing faults.

In the tab Earthing description you can enter the type of the earthing, the material and the type of potential objects that the earthing intends to protect.

In the tab Measurement direction / Base values you have the current measuring values that exists and a presentation of distance and directions to the earthing, auxiliary earthing and measurement probe. For calculation of electrification/energizing quantity you should enter the important Calculated reference value in this form. Based on this value the electrification/energizing quantity in protected objects will be calculated.

In the tab Control values the measurement values for the 3 latest controls can be saved.
