DWG...

Exports data within an area of the map to a DWG (AutoCad) file. Only map data that is visible in the area will be exported (if raster images are in active view, these will be ignored).

The export to DWG format takes place in two steps, first an export to DXF and then conversion from DXF to DWG. dpSpatial reads DWG via a third-party product (Teigha) that is updated relatively frequently. Usually it is not the latest version that the product is updated to, but it is updated to previous versions.

The product class Special components must always be displayed, it contains such graphics as are needed to define the export area in the graphic view (alternatively Rectangle and Define area).
