For some objects that are placed in the map or schematics, it is possible to create a package and prepare a list of material when the object is created. A package that is created in this way has no connection to a project or storage.

The objects that this should apply to is configurable in the system. As a standard it is for example possible for cable pillar, poles and substations in dpPower.

 

1.Right-click on the object and select Show/change attributes.

2.Select the Package tab.

3.Press Create package. When a package has been created for the object you can add relevant information about the package. See the sections below for additional options.

4.Create a storage, see section Create a storage.

5.Create package and add material by right-clicking the storage row and select Add materials... > from task changeset.

 

The Article register tab

In the Article register tab, it is possible to retrieve the articles that are connected to the object and its contents.

•Press Find articles to find articles that are connected to the object and its content.

•Press Article catalog to add articles manually. The dialog box Article catalog opens.

The fields are active which makes it possible to right-click on both construction groups, the content and the articles. You can create New constructions, Delete, Add package articles to construction and vice versa, and Add selected (articles) to package.

 

The Construction groups tab

The Construction groups tab contains a number of selectable groups which you create for an object.

•Right-click on a construction to add selected rows to the package or to add selected rows to the selected construction in the tree.

•Right-click on a construction group in the upper part of the dialog to change the name or description of the existing group or add a new group.

 

The Search article tab

The Search article tab makes it possible to search for one or several specific articles by entering one or more of the three search alternatives. If there are mapped articles, these are loaded. If the article exists with another supplier than with the main supplier, you can right-click and select the supplier.

•Press Search to get a list of relevant search results.

•Edit an article by selecting the row and press Update.

•Press Create new article to create a new article.

•Right-click in the Quantity column to change the quantity.

 

Find construction groups for an article

The query tool provides a report that you can use to find which construction groups a specific article belongs to.

1.In the toolbar, press on the query tool .

2.In the Reports tab, select Organizer > Designer > Construction groups per article.

3.Fill in the desired Article code and press Search.
