Creates a postable copy by disconnecting from the network in use.
•Partial copy is a function where you can create one or several new changesets with whole or selected parts from an existing changeset.
•Select which objects and which stages to copy from the existing changeset.
•Allows you to connect a new network to the existing one and thus avoid creating a network calculation copy and adjusting the original.
•Projects that have become too large can be split.
•Allows you to connect a new network to the existing one to create a network station / cable cabinet card in dpPower.
•The partial copy function requires that the changesets are optimistic.
•Objects in use should not be selected in the selection selection.
•Changesets created with partial copy should be clearly named.
•Facilities in use in dpPower that do not correspond to facilities in the field and are to be changed should be documented in another changeset, since objects in use are not included in the selection.
•Cables in use that are splitted are not included in the selection. It may be supplemented afterwards.
•Where cables in use are divided with the Joints with cable split function, the joint state must be changed to be selectable in the selection.
Never post the original changeset when using the Create Partial Copy function. Post only the changeset that is the partial copy. If the original changeset is posted, conflicts will arise that can be complicated to resolve. |
1.Log in to a changeset where a new network has been connected to an existing network.
2.To start the function, select File> Copy> Create Partial Copy. The Select State dialog box opens.
