Under the Console menu option, there is a dialog box that displays real-time log information from the application. The information displayed in the console is similar to that previously available in the Java console and can be useful when troubleshooting and reporting bugs.
When reporting bugs, relevant information can be copied from the console and attached to the bug report to facilitate analysis and problem solving.
1.Select Help > Console. A dialog box opens.
The dialog box is continuously updated as new information is added and will automatically scroll to the bottom where the latest information is added. |
Clear |
Clears the console of information. |

Stack trace |
Generates a detailed snapshot of the application's active threads and processes. This can be useful when troubleshooting performance issues or if the application appears to be hanging.

Log level |
Allows the possibility to select the level of log messages to be displayed. Available levels are: •SEVERE - Displays only critical errors. •WARNING - Displays warnings indicating potential problems. •INFO - Displays general information about the application. •CONFIG - Displays static configuration messages. •FINE, FINER, FINEST - Displays increasingly detailed log messages for troubleshooting. When a log level is selected, all messages from higher severity levels are also displayed. When changing the log level, a message is printed in the console confirming the new level. |
