Displays a table containing metadata about the various components belonging to a selected object. The function is used to study which components are included in a certain object. It is also used to locate graphical components that have been placed far from the parent object.
The feature is only available to users with administrative rights. |
1.Select a component in the table.
2.Right-click the component and select Show in active view.
1.Select Show > Components for Object.
2.Select a component. The Components for [object type] window opens.
The entries in the table correspond to contained components of the object. The following information about the components is displayed:
▪Component type name
▪Component type (system)
▪Occurrence (system)
▪Subtype (system)
▪State
▪Type
▪Owner (schema user)
▪Table
▪Object type (system)
▪System-ID
The table entries are active, i.e. right-clicking an entry opens an object-specific right-click menu.
