Defines the relation between child objects and parent objects.
1.Activate the function by Tools > Relations > Other relations > Change parent for child object.
2.Select a child object in the graphical view with the left mouse button. The objects found within the tolerance are shown in a list. By hovering over the object in the list, it is highlighted in the graphical view with the color for Selected. Select the object with the left mouse button or cancel with the right mouse button.
3.Then select a parent object with the left mouse button. The objects found within the tolerance are shown in the list. By hovering over the object in the list, it is highlighted in the graphical view with the color for Selected. Select the object with the left mouse button or cancel with the right mouse button.

The function can redefine a previous relation between a child object and a parent object. For example: A bus bar (child object) has a relation to a substation (parent object). This function makes it possible to relate the bus bar to another substation. |
