Calculation

In Designer it is possible to create one main calculation and several alternative calculations. At any time a calculation status can be changed from alternative to main and vice versa.

 

Only one main calculation can exist for each task.

 

Select a task and go to the tab Calculations.

A quick summary of how to create a calculation:

 

1.Select a task and log into its changeset.

2.Pan to the area in the map you would like to make the calculation for.

3.Select the tab Calculations.

4.Create a main calculation.

5.Enter a name for the calculation.

6.Add the cost catalog(s) on which the calculation should be based on.

7.Right-click on the main calculation and select the preferred way to get objects from the map.

8.The network objects that are mapped to cost catalog entries are listed under the tab Preview.

9.Mark the entries you would like to transfer to the calculation and press the button Transfer posts.

10. Select the sheet to transfer the entries to.

11. Add codes manually if needed from the cost catalog.

12. Press Save.
