In the following section functions to automatically find and execute network calculations on backup feeding routes are described. The functions require the module Operator Real-time and works on both lsp and msp objects.
Before the function can be used it needs to be configured. This is done by using the user interface for dpPower.
Select Analyzer > Results/Administration. Select the tab Administration and press the button Settings for backup feeding routes.
When the tool is activated, the calculation parameters that should be used for the calculations needs to be set. You will also need to set the result terms and values that should determine whether or not a calculation is approved.
Specifies which parameter setting that should be used during the calculations.
Specifies which presentation template that should be used for the result evaluation.
A predefined load level can be specified depending on the month when the function is used.
Specifies where the loads should be retrieved from and what kind of Velander table that should be used during the calculations.
Specifies the maximum number of calculations that should be executed.
Select the object types that should be used for switching the network.
Specifies which calculation results that should be classified as approved. The intervals aims to the result intervals in the presentation template in section 2.
Start the function from a faulty object
Right-click on a faulty object in the map or in the schema e.g. a feeder cable or a device. Select Network calculation > Backup feeding routes > Normal state or Actual state depending on which state you wish to use.
The network is traced, the fault is isolated and the possibilities for backup feeding of the network that becomes out of power are analyzed.
If any possibilities for backup feeding is found, the following dialog Found 1 alternate feeding routes is opened.
The title bar displays the amount of possible feeding routes. A network calculation is started automatically for the first alternative. If the calculation result is approved, the calculation will halt.
If the calculation result has not been approved or if you wish to explore other alternatives that has been found, press the button Run more calculations and a calculation will start for the next alternative.
Show list
When the checkbox is checked, it is possible to select the alternative feeding routes from the list. When an alternative feeding route has been selected, the button Perform calculation is enabled. Press this button to start a calculation for the alternative feeding route. It is also possible to press the buttons Show result and Show objects to display some more information about the objects involved and the calculation results.
Net calculation log
Displays the network calculation log from the calculation for the selected row.
Run more calculations
Starts a new calculation and continues to run calculations until an approved alternative is found.
Cancel calculation
Cancels the current calculation.
Load level
States what load level that should be used during the calculation. The start value is set in the administration tool for the function.
Result graphic
Displays the calculation result for the selected row graphically in the map/schema. The part of the network that is sectioned away is marked in a red color.
Show result table
Displays a table with the calculation results för the selected row.
Show approved result limits
Displays the approved result limits in a dialog:
Show switched objects
Displays a table with switched objects for the connection alternative.
One or several rows can be added to a selected outage or operation order by selecting a row or rows and press the button Add selected rows to the selected outage/operation order.
Highlight all
Highlights the objects that are included in the connection alternative for the selected row.
Colorize enhanced
Colorizes the objects that are included in the connection alternative for the selected row.
Purple - Objects that are included in the connection alternative.
Red - Objects that are disconnected or sectioned away.
Green - Connected objects
Grey - Sectioning points that already exists
Network calculations can be performed from the dialog Simulate operations. This function uses the connection information that is given from each row in the dialog as the basis for the calculations. The results from the calculations then states if the result is approved or not depending on the predefined approved intervals.
Open the dialog Simulate operations either from an existing switch order or from the operator-meny. In the dialog you will find two buttons that are picturing an abakus and an abakus with a blue information sign.
1.Perform a calculation.
The network calculations are performed for the connection information that is given for the selected row. If no row is selected, the calculation will be performed on all the rows. When a calculation is terminated, the column Calculation result is updated with the result from the calculation (OK/NOT OK).
2.Display calculation window.
By pressing the button Display calculation window, it is possible to retrieve information about the network components that are included in the alternative. It is also possible to retrieve more detailed information about the calculation result for the different alternative.
