This function requires a special feature. Please contact Digpro for installation. |
Simple Dynamic Inventory (SDI) is a module that allows the creation and management of new object types directly in the system. It is used to create an inventory of objects that are not part of the NIS model and thus have no direct link to the network.
These object types can be organized in a hierarchical structure, where relationships between parent and child objects are defined. The object types created via the SDI become available to the modules Maintainer and Organizer.
SDI can be opened and managed in a separate application, but the functions are also accessed from the dpPower, dpCom, dpHeating, dpWater and dpGas applications.
Administrators can create and manage new object types in SDI using the SDI Metadata editor.
Users without an administrator role will see the new object types in the SDI tab in the sidebar and can create new objects based on the created object types directly in the sidebar.
1.In the main menu, select Administration > SDI Metadata editor. A dialog box opens.
2.To create a new object type, select Edit > New object type.
