This function is used to highlight the ODF(s) - or sockets - to which the contents of a cable are connected (contacted). The function makes it possible to quickly find out which ODF(s) in a rack the fibers in an optical cable are connected to, even if the optical cable is connected to the rack.

 

1.Select Reports > Trace > Show Cable Content Connections (Ctrl + F8) to enable the feature.

2.Select a cable. In the auto view, ODF or socket objects to which the contents of the cable are connected are lit up in the color highlighted.
