This function makes it possible to save the results of traces in the duct and opto/copper network. The saved tracing result can then be used as a basis when you run queries and reports in the Query Tool.

 

1.Select Reports > Trace, and select the Save results in object list checkbox.

2.Perform a trace in the network using the Complete opto/copper or pipe trace option. See the section that follows for a description of this tracing tool.

3.Open the Query Tool from the tools menu.

4.Select a question and then select the check box to search for data within the saved trace result (Save results in object list).

5.Press Search. The result of the search is displayed in the results window.
