Document y-connectors

The function can be used to see which pipes are connected / linked via a y-connection or to create and document a link between a pipe branch closure and one or more pipes.

 

See which pipes are linked via y-connection

1.Locate the pipe branch closure, for example in the map or by using the query tool.

2.Right-click on the pipe branch closure and select Show/change attributes. A window opens.

3.Select the Pipe data tab to display any linked pipes.

 

Create and document a link between a pipe branch closure and one or more pipes

1.Locate and select one or more pipes, for example in the map or by using the query tool.

2.Right-click on the pipe(s) to be linked and select Links > Link pipe/duct to pipe branch closure.

3.Select the pipe branch closure, either directly in the map or by using the query tool. The pipe branch closure opens in a new window.

4.Select the now visible pipe branch closure. A link is created between the pipe branch closure and the pipe.

 

Remove linking

1.Right-click on the pipe and select Show/change attributes. A window opens.

2.Select the Network relation tab.

3.Press Remove link.
