The metadata manual is a list of components, objects and code lists contained in the system. It lists all components with their constituent fields and all object types with their subtypes and constituent components. The information is similar to that found in the Object metadata browser, but is organized in a different way.

You can use the metadata manual to gain insight into the system's tables and see the function and content of each table. The manual is displayed in the browser.

 

Generate the metadata manual

1.Select Administration > Metadata Manual. The manual is generated and opens in a new window in the browser.

2.Use the browser's search function (Ctrl + F) to search for metadata in the manual.
