Use this function to place cross sections showing how pipes, ducts, and cables are arranged within the selected routes.

 

1. Select routes in the map.

2. Select Place > Place cross sections for routes in the menu bar. The dialog opens.

3. Under Generation, select Create only missing, Regenerate existing, or both options.

4. Under Position, select In the middle, At both ends, or both options.

5. Under Direction, select the desired direction for the cross sections.

6. Press Place. The cross sections are placed according to your selections.

By default, Create only missing, In the middle, and North are selected.

 

You can also open the dialog from the right-click menu:

1. Select routes in the map.

2. Right-click and select Cross section > Place cross sections for routes.

3. Select the desired options in the dialog.

4. Press Place.
