Move end point and connection of route

This tool allows you to adjust the endpoint of a route object, disconnecting it from a node if connected, or connecting it to a node if moved to that node.

Disconnecting a route with content may cause issues, for example, if the content includes a cable connected to equipment in the node.

1.In the menu bar, select Edit > Pipes and routes > Move end point and connection of route.

2.In the map, select one end of a route object. If the route is connected, the connected node will be highlighted.

3.Drag the endpoint to either an empty space on the map or to another node object.

4.If the move affects the connection of the route at its endpoint, a dialog will appear with a description of the effect and options to confirm or cancel the move:

oPress Yes to confirm the move.

oPress No to cancel the move. The tool will remain active and can be canceled by pressing the Esc key or right-clicking the mouse.
