With this function several attributes of different objects can be updated with one command.
The collection of objects that can be edited are those that are selected, highlighted, traced (saved tracing), or objects in the changeset.

Before opening the tool, make sure that the objects to be processed are selected in one of the above ways. |
1.Select Tools > Mass attribute update.... A dialog opens.
2.In Field, select which attribute to be updated.
3.In New value, enter the new value to be assigned to the objects.
4.Check Only update blank fields if only empty fields are to be updated.
5.Decide how the objects should be selected:
oCurrently selected
oCurrently highlighted
oIn saved object list
oAll objects in changeset
6.Press Update to implement the change. An update report is displayed.
7.Press Details to view details of what was updated.
