This function allows you to place ducts from a node to a set of customer nodes by selecting a feeding node and then placing a polygon around customer nodes. For each selected customer node, a duct is placed in the shortest route path to the feeding node. The ducts are placed directly in the route.

The created cables and ducts have a standard configuration that sets the ID of the ducts. That configuration can be modified, please contact Digpro for help.

1.Choose Autogeneration > Place ducts > Place ducts from node.

2.Select a feeding node to start from in the map.

3.Place a polygon around the customer nodes whose associated route in which ducts should be placed. The dialog for Pipe data is opened.

4.Enter the subtype and dimension in the drop-down list and press OK to confirm.The status bar at the bottom of the application window displays the number of objects that have been created.

5.Place cross sections and/or update existing cross sections in order to see the recently placed ducts (right-click the cross section > Update Cross section).
