Saves a free plot with the selected settings.
When you save a free plot through File > Save free plot, the free plot is saved in the database. An ID number for the free plot can be found at the far right of the title bar.
Saved plots are personal plots and are linked to the username and are application dependent. It is therefore not possible to open a saved plot with your username in another application than the one in which you created it.
You can also create permanent print areas based on certain types of surface objects, such as park area, surface area, project area, inspection area, or concession area. By right-clicking on the surface, you access the preview option, which means that you end up directly in the Free Plot tool.
If the Free Plot tool is used from the right-click menu, you will need to create a new preview if you change anything in the map. |
It is possible to link a saved plot to the Organizer module.
The plot that is linked to the task in Organizer will be available to anyone who has access to the specific task. The plot linked to the task will disappear from the user's list of saved plots in the Free Plot function.
Only link free plots that you know you have made yourself in an application that you use for Organizer. Make sure that if you link another user's free plot, that it's okay and that the person is aware that this particular saved plot will disappear from their list of saved plots. |
1.Open Organizer and select a project.
2.Select the Linked objects tab in the east panel.
3.Press Add link and select Link to free plot. A dialog opens where all users' saved plots in all applications are displayed.
To get a linked plot back in the list of saved plots, select the plot and press Delete link to free plot |
