Create a product specification for a specific copper cable type

1.Select Administration > Create Product Specification > Copper Cable.

2.Fill in information about the cable type on the left of the form.

3.In the thread template on the right, you specify the types of thread to be used, with information about the number of the thread object (ThreadNo), which number the thread has in the tube/ribbon (ThreadNo in tube/ribbon), the color of the thread (Color), the color of the tube or ribbon/ribbon in which the wire is located (Color of tube/ribbon), as well as which track or which tube/ribbon the wire is part of (Track, respectively Tube/ribbon in cable). Note! Pink fields are mandatory, i.e. they must be filled.

4.Use the buttons in the toolbar to add or remove selected fiber templates.

5.When you apply the product specification to a cable, the information in the wire template is automatically transferred and displayed, among other things, in the Related data tab of the cable's attribute form.

6.Click OK.

7.By using button Change all objects that use this product specification, you can updated product specification and all linked objects.
