This function allows you to change the type of an existing node. The node types available, depends on the contents of the current node. This means for example, that you will not be able to change a node containing racks into a manhole because a manhole cannot contain rack units.

When you change a node type a number of graphical components will be modified, including its symbol in the position map.

 

1.Select Edit > Node/manhole > Change type of node.

2.Select the node object that you want to edit. The dialog window Change type of node opens.

3.Select a new node type from the list and press OK. In the statuslist the text Object replaced is shown. Symbol and text components in the graphical view are updated according to the drawing attributes that has been defined for the node type.
