Monitor the task using the status bar

The status bar above the tabs in the task form in Organizer gives you an overview of delays, the project’s budget status, and pending decisions.

Status

Meaning

On time

No workflow items are considered delayed.

Delayed or Delayed (…)

One or more workflow items are considered delayed. If several items are delayed, the count appears in parentheses.

On budget

The project’s total outcome does not exceed its total planned budget.

Over budget

The project’s total outcome exceeds its total planned budget.

Decisions pending

Activities or decision points have unanswered decisions. Each affected activity or decision point is counted once.

Closed

The task is closed. Other status information appears in gray.

Time status is displayed only if the workflow contains planned dates. Budget status is displayed only if the project has budget entries. Pending decisions are displayed only when decisions are awaiting answers.

A started workflow item is considered delayed if it has not been completed and its planned end date has passed. A milestone is also considered delayed if it started after its planned start date. If the workflow has not started, the planned start date of the first item is checked.
